Jia Hui becomes the first unicyclist from Singapore to qualify for the 800km 5-day unicycle race in Nova Scotia, June 2008, and she leads others who are expected to qualify from this great island nation.

Despite the persistent heat of the tropical sun, the heavy downpours, and stiff ocean breezes this Singaporean tigress met her challenge to qualify, with flying colours, riding 9 1/2 and 10 hours on consecutive days.
Jia Hui travelled parts of the newly-built cycling tracks of Singapore and feasted on stingray, day 1, and a concoction of scrambled eggs, avocado, ham and bananas, and burgers, day 2.
Perhaps if this news reaches Cathay Pacific Airlines or Singapore Airlines, there might be corporate support for the Team from Singapore.
